Considering that many of the owners of
these nostalgic vehicles are approaching their golden years, and within the
next decade, many of these individuals will be passing on… (dying off). This
means that their widows will be faced with the prospect and/or responsible
for dealing with their assets and the estates. These estates, in many
cases include stocks, property, and other forms of appreciated assets, which
have accumulated over the years. Typically women outlive men by 5 years, and
the widows of these estates in some cases will include (nostalgia cars), and
even unfinished project car or a beautiful hot rod, classic, or muscle
car which might be easier for her to donate rather than trying to
sell. Many of these car enthusiasts have more than one car.
Again, donated property can in many
cases help offset encumbered taxes on some of the accumulated assets.
Also, in many cases, they’re unfinished (project cars). Sometimes
these projects have been a big bone of contention in the marriage
relationship, diverting time, money, energy into the (husbands hobby),
rather than the wife interest and needs.
By donating the vehicle, it might ease
the pain and loss of the spouse along make the wife feel good by helping a
worthy cause… continue he husbands legacy, while offsetting some of her
encumbered tax liability and/or death taxes. Donating the vehicle,
could be the practical way of dealing with her situation, and through a
woman’s point of view. This leaves her with the ability to at least
write off all the money that was spent on the (project car), and also could
offset other inherited wealth such as property, stock, retirement accounts,
and other cash assets.
Generally speaking, women make most
giving decisions in the family anyway. If it weren’t for woman… their
probably wouldn’t be a need for non-profits like the Rescue Mission
Foundation, and/or RESCUE RODS.
Someday these wife’s will be faced with the disposal of their husband auto
collection. Hundreds, if not thousands of these types of
scenarios will be forthcoming in the immediate future, and
RESCUE RODS will offer an alternative solution, and could
be the bridge between the donor and the Rescue Mission Foundation, and the
(service provider recipient) to do some good, and to help hurting children.
The funds generated by the sell of these vehicles will cover
cost of advertising, transportation, administration, and the cost of sale.
